ALKANET, FROM PHIL JOHNSON

This ferocious looking stuff is called Alkanet and it was supplied to us in large amounts by Phil Johnson, Ulverston musician and Allotment holder.  Lexi will be deriving red dye from it's hairy roots. 
I could have sworn I saw it move.
